We would like to base this statement with following example: On the one hand, each player in the team has individual goals, so they try to achieve something for themselves, which can be either playing regularly, scoring goals, being so good that he is invited to his national team etc. On the other hand, the whole organization tries to accomplish goals; some of them could be winning championships, buying new players etc. According to these characteristics, we agreed as a group that a team is an organization. The question we asked our ourselves afterwards was to which extent we could analyze the role of the Management in Organizational Behavioral aspects and thereby see which efforts the clubs management made to achieve everyones goals. Due to this point we had a closer look at the process of planning, organizing, leading and controlling aspects of the club. The four functions of the management will thereby be explained from the beginning of the season. The planning aspect, where the decision of organizational goals takes place, was actually finished during the end of last season, when the management decided to offer Judger Clansman a Job as head coach. This was a break with former ideas as Clansman is an inexperienced, young coach, but has some new inputs to the sport due to influences from the USA. The Organizing stage was fulfilled with Clansman himself, when the executive board and the head coach bought some new players and employed an American coach to support Clansman. The last point, the controlling aspect however, can only be fulfilled after the season, when the season can be evaluated and actions can be undertaken regarding the improvement of performance. This improvement may be buying new players or in the worst case for the coach the firing of the old and hiring of a new coach. We furthermore emphasized the Managerial Skills, which can be divided into three steps. Nevertheless, the implementation of this concept on a football team might not be as clear as in an organization or company, where managers in different positions are giving specific input into the daily routine. We therefore introduced the Managerial Skills aspect on the Skills of the teams players. FCC Brayer Munich has therefore respectively players with technical skills, which is the lowest level. It includes specific football knowledge and techniques (shooting, passing, running etc. ), however also the lowest level is rather high, as the observed team is one of the best in Europe. In the next level we are observing leading players, with the ability to work with, understand, lead and control the behavior of other people and groups. We thereby want to mention players in the team, which have the mentioned qualities ND are able to lead own players in the team and understand the way of playing of different players (the German National players Eccentricities, Poodles and Alma for example). The last and most important skills for managers and players are the conceptual skills, which are the abilities to analyze and diagnose a situation and to distinguish cause and effect. Transfer this aspect from managers to professional football players, we are looking for players which have the ability to read the game and the opponents way of playing. With this ability, those few players can change their own teams tactics and thereby distinguish the cause for heir own weak play already during the game. Such ability have only some players, as it is the hardest to achieve and the way to get it is a mix of talent and experience on equal terms. Only three players in the team of FCC Brayer Munich may have conceptual skills, namely Lucia (captain of Brasilia National Team), Franca Robbery (French National player) and Luck Toni (Italian National player and World Champion 2006 with Italy). Having talked about the functions of management and players in FCC Brayer Munich, we are now going to cover the part of Challenges in Organizational Behavior, whereby our focus will lie on changing cultural environment and challenges of diversity. Among other changes, players have to spend, as already mentioned, their free time during the day together. Thereby any loneliness of foreign players can be prevented. Furthermore, as the team has Muslim, Buddhist and Christian players, the managers decided to establish praying rooms for each religious groups, where each player can pray and have a break. One aspect of cultural differences can be food. This aspect was nevertheless solved some time ago in professional football teams throughout Germany, as especially professional players need a specific diet with carbohydrates and vitamins. As the German food is rather heavy and contains lots of unhealthy fat, FCC Brayer Munich employed a French Chief, which is not only cooking for the players during the week, but is also Joining the team for games during the weekend. Thereby the managers an guarantee a healthy diet and minimize the risk of food poisoning etc. The food example makes quite clear, that during the change of social and cultural environment, also some aspects of ones own culture must be abolished and aspects of other cultures must be overtaken, when those are more in line with the organizations goals (e. G. Abolishing German food and taking French and Italian food, as it is more healthy). The last aspect we are focusing on is the aspect of Diversity Challenges. Taking the aspect of Fairness and Justice into account, namely equal employment opportunities, whereby educational and national aground should play no significant role, we can see that these aspects are given in FCC Brayer Munich during the actual season even more than ever before. Only new coach Clansman was finally ready to change that fact, by giving the player the role of captain, who might be the best person for the Job due to his qualities and characteristics and not because of his nationality. So, for the first time in the teams history, a non-German, namely Dutch National Player Mark van Boomed became captain of the team, bringing the fairness and Justice level within the team to a complete new level. Talking about the challenges, the question arise if organizations can benefit from different attitudes and perspectives of people with diverse backgrounds? In the world of sports this question can be answered with a yes. Although challenges are given (different cultures etc. ), the overall new achievement of a pool of new ideas and creativity is overwhelming. This becomes clear by looking to only at FCC Brayer Eunuchs best players, which are foreigners, but taking the World Cup 2002 in Korea and Japan into account. At this event the Korean National team has achieved a 4th place with their Dutch coach Gus Hidden, who mixed European discipline with Asian technique, leading to the best result of an Asian team in FIFE World Cups until now. Conclusion Summarizing our argumentation, we agreed on the fact that a sports team can also be seen due to some characteristics as an organization. As this precondition was given, the question was to which extent a division of management would be able in a ports team, where usually a rather low hierarchical structure exists. Nevertheless, the four functions of management can also be implemented to different stages during the season of a team and managerial skills. Although not assigned to managers, players performance could be explained with managerial skills. In the last part we talked about challenges for organizational behavior and mentioned the fact that, although challenges are given, facing those and employing foreigners for a team in any position (coaches, players etc. ) can lead to an improvement of a teams performance.

How to Write an SEO Article ââ¬â Part 1 How to Write an SEO Article Part 1 How to Write an SEO Article Part 1 By Colin In a recent article, A Freelance Writers Basic Guide to SEO, we had several requests asking how SEO knowledge can be used in practice, when writing articles. Naturally, we are only too happy to oblige. The methods I am going to talk about in this article have not been learnt in online courses, nor have they been taken from theory manuals you can download for a price on the Internet. Everything I am going to discuss has been gained from hard experience, both as a writer (over 10 years), and as an I.T. consultant (University degree and 18 years in the business). Is Writing an SEO Article Complicated? No. There are no magic formulas or weird science to SEO, and thereââ¬â¢s no right or wrong way of doing things. There are guidelines, however, as you will discover in this two-part article. SEO writing is very much a matter of common sense, and the application of some very simple points that are based on the idea of well constructed articles, and well constructed websites. Surprised? Donââ¬â¢t be. Just read on. SEO writing is no more complicated than writing a standard article for a magazine, the only difference being, there are a couple of other factors to consider. But the basics are always the same, which is where I am going to kick this article off. Get The Basics Right Whether the article is for your own website or as part of a freelance writing contract, the most important thing to always remember when writing a Search Engine Optimised article, is to make it a GOOD article. By good article, I mean the article must be useful to the reader. It should provide them with a benefit they can visualise, or offer something of value to them that is applicable and relevant to their lives or businesses. It should be something they can relate to easily. Thereââ¬â¢s no point in writing a technically good SEO article, for it to be a load of nonsense to the reader. Not only will the website concerned lose a potential customer or lose out on traffic and advertising revenue, but the article will become a non-entity and be a complete waste of everyoneââ¬â¢s time. If the article is no good to the reader, donââ¬â¢t expect it to be picked up or linked to by affiliates, link marketers, or any other medium that could have provided valuable promotion or marketing ââ¬â all of which would have boosted the websiteââ¬â¢s rankings. Always remember to write for the HUMAN who will read the article at the end of the line, not the search engine algorithm that finds it. Get that right, and you are already half way there! Components of SEO Content An SEO article is made up of two distinct, but very important components: 1) it has to contain relevant and value added content 2) it has to be supported by good website infrastructure (the ââ¬Ëtechy bitââ¬â¢) As I have already mentioned, SEO article content must be topically relevant, and provide value to the reader. And as with a standard article on any conceivable subject thatââ¬â¢s possible, it has to have a new angle, a good initial hook, and and it must be important to the reader. Writers of articles for all kinds of publication will tell you this; itââ¬â¢s what you learn on day 1 at freelance article writing school. What they might not tell you until much later, is that in an SEO article content must include certain keywords and keyphrases that are relevant to the topic, and the article context. These keywords and keyphrases must appear seamlessly in the article, and not disrupt the natural flow of the piece; they should ehnance it and be inconspicuous at the same time. Iââ¬â¢ll cover the ââ¬Ëtechy bitââ¬â¢ in the part 2 of this article. Keywords and Keyphrases Thereââ¬â¢s no science to figuring out what keywords to use within the content of your article, so that they show up in search engine results. Forget about AdWords, keyword software, scientific algebrae, and costly training courses. In my opinion these are expensive sledgehammers being wielded to crack a nut,and in my experience, are only designed by people hoping to make a quick buck by taking advantage of what writers donââ¬â¢t know. Hereââ¬â¢s what to do. Sit down with a notepad and pen, and write down all the words and phrases that could possibly relate to the subject/business interest you are writing about. Almost all of these will (or should) be getting used in the meta data of the web page, but this will probably not be of your concern anyway (this is also covered in the ââ¬Ëtechy bitââ¬â¢ in part 2). Some of the keywords you write down, can be used within the SEO article. For instance, I recently wrote an article for a website that is in the business of superior tourist accomodation in the Scottish Borders a bed and breakfast. The keywords and phrases I came up with were: ââ¬Å"bed and breakfastâ⬠, ââ¬Å"hotelâ⬠, ââ¬Å"guest houseâ⬠, ââ¬Å"Scotland,â⬠ââ¬Å"Bordersâ⬠, ââ¬Å"tourismâ⬠, ââ¬Å"accomodationâ⬠, ââ¬Å"Scottish Tourist Industryâ⬠, etc. However, in most cases, especially if you have been hired to write an SEO article for a third party, it is more likely you will be given certain keywords to use within an article in advance. This is fine ââ¬â theyââ¬â¢ve done the brain storming for you ââ¬â but however they came up with the words and phrases, itââ¬â¢s your job to write a quality article that has them embedded in the text. Itââ¬â¢s not difficult, as you will see in part 2 of this article next week, when I look at applying the keywords and keyphrases, utilising hypertext links in text, keyword density, and web page optimisation (the ââ¬Ëtechy bitââ¬â¢). Thus, MNCs should self-regulate in a way that promotes the wellbeing of the society and its citizens. CSR has been controversial for decades, and some aspects of the subject matter have been introduced by ethicists. This controversy has been broadened recently to encompass the practices of MNCs. Even nowadays, the long-standing issue still reverberates through the halls of international corporations across the globe: ââ¬Å"If it is legal, does that make it ethical?â⬠(Manakkalathil & Rudolf 1995, 29) The emphasis of the word ââ¬Ëethicsââ¬â¢ can be related to views concerning what is moral and what is not; one description of ethics may be the explanation of what comprises human wellbeing and the actions needed to support it. One outstanding example of a musical image of a woman that is actually opposed to the text is the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute.In the story, her character is absolutely a negative one. But Mozart gave her the most beautiful, much-loved arias that make the audience adore her. Thanks to Mozart's music, an image that could easily have been one-sided is in fact something much more complex. â⬠In a recent lecture, Anat Sharon discussed the way that Mozart depicted women on stage rising above every test that men subject them to. Clearly, Mozart related to the women differently from the way he related to men. According to Anat Sharon, ââ¬Å"Mozart's attitude to women can be considered both in terms of their standing in society s a whole and in terms of his personal life. Mozart himself was open-minded and aware of the lack of justice and equality in the feudal society in which he found himself. In the court of the Archbishop of Salzburg, where he lived and worked as a musician, he was considered no more than a kind of servant. ââ¬Å"It is clear that this social order outraged him not only with regard to what he considered his own servitude, but also with regard to women. Therefore, sometimes women in his operas work together to protect their interests against the joint ââ¬Ëenemy'ââ¬â men. 1 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at piano ith muses by Hausleitner (Lebrecht Music and Arts) There is no doubt that the depictions of women in Mozart's operas are deeper, broader and more interesting than the depictions of men. â⬠The question is how much of this slant is due to the librettist and how much to Mozart himself. According to Anat Sharon, ââ¬Å"In the operas Mozart wrote with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte and Don Giovanni, Mozart was a full partner Anat Sharon explains, ââ¬Å"One of the most idealized feminine characters of all in Mozart's operas is in fact not a noblewoman but a servant. That isSusanna in The Marriage of Figaro. Although traditionally in the commedia dell'arte, servants are more full of life and wit than their employers, Susanna is much more than this. She is an intelligent woman who knows how to read, write and play music. In one scene, Susanna and the Countess sit and together write a letter in which they help catch the Count in his betrayal. The countess dictates and Susanna writes; an example of two women working in harmony against men. The music also reflects the relationship between the two. They sing a soprano duet in which the countess sings and Susanna eplies. The melodies and words are so intermingled that it is virtually impossible to determine which woman is singing which melody. In effect, the two become one. Though this is not explicitly stated in the libretto, the Research this is all in their imaginations, but in All Women Do That (Cosi Fan Tutte), it turns out to be true: when the men are not near them, women are untrue. A ccording to Anat Sharon, ââ¬Å"Even in Cosi Fan Tutte, Mozart's sympathies are on the side of the women. Here, the men set a test of loyalty and the women, who originally hadn't thought of betrayal, are swept away.This also happens to the men, so that in fact, not only do all women ââ¬Ëdo that' but men too. This is apparently human nature. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera Le Nozze Di Figaro (Tristram Kenton/Lebrecht Music and Arts) music is depicting a state of equality between the two in Mozart's eyes, even though they belong to two different social levels. ââ¬Å"This is seen even more clearly in Mozart's decision to write an aria for Susanna to sing to seduce the Count, which is actually a serenade. A woman singing a love serenade is unheard of. Susanna is behaving like a man, trying o forge her own path in life. There had been nothing like this in the world of opera, until Mozart, since women were thought at the time to lack the intellect and capacity for rational thought tha t would enable them to manage their lives for themselves. ââ¬Å"Mozart knew this well, because he had a personal example at home. Constanze was very shrewd and had initiative and good business sense, as can be seen by how well she established herself and their children after Mozart died penniless. She guarded his heritage, helped publish his works and was instrumental in the writing of his first biography. In contrast to the women in Mozart's operas who are very aware, men in the operas tend to be rather confused. ââ¬Å"It seems that Mozart didn't value men very highly, especially compared to women, who in his eyes were always more complex and interesting. The male characters in the operas are more one-sided. In The Magic Flute, the only character whom the audience supports wholeheartedly is Papageno, the birdcatcher, who touches our hearts with his simplicity and innocence. â⬠In all the operas, men are convinced that women are fickle betrayers. Generally, ââ¬Å"In spite of the ââ¬Ëgood' ending, there s no doubt that the message is subversive and there is an expression of something like feminism. Although the opera seems to indicate that women are dependent on men for love, in fact Mozart does not suffice with what is written in the libretto. He makes his own contribution to the different characters through musical characterization in his operas. ââ¬Å"Another excellent example is the duet that opens The Marriage of Figaro. Figaro is measuring the size of the room where he and Susanna will live after their marriage while Susanna is trying on her wedding bonnet in front of the mirror.He is pleased with the room; she is less so. They sing a duet composed of two separate tunes ââ¬â his, staccato in buffo style; hers, lyric and sensitive. The audience is made to wonder how on earth these two will ever live together compatibly if they sing in two completely different musical languages. It is also clear from the music, that she is the one who will s et the tone in their marriage. And that is indeed what happens in the opera ââ¬â Figaro dances to her tune. â⬠In such a way, in both the operas and in much of Mozart's personal life, do men dance to women's tunes. 1 1
